Cassidy Keller is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc. She received an Associates of Arts degree in Psychology at West Virginia University at Parkersburg. From there, she went on to West Virginia University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Communications, and her Master of Arts in Counseling.
While in West Virginia, Cassidy worked in an intensive outpatient program for substance abuse and a comprehensive opioid addiction treatment program for pregnant women. For the past two years, Cassidy has been providing mental health services to children and adults through individual, group, and school-based counseling. Cassidy co-facilitated a court ordered aggression management program for domestic violence and assault related charges in order to decrease the likelihood of reoffense.
At Nemeth Counseling, Cassidy works as a full-time outpatient clinician at the Westerville location, providing mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her professional interests and experiences include anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, anger management, substance abuse, stress, trauma, and life transitions. Cassidy uses an eclectic style of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused, strengths-based, expressive therapy approaches in order to best meet her clients’ needs. Cassidy fosters a warm, safe, and supportive environment for each client.
