Hanna Sherwood, LPC

Hanna is a Licensed Professional Counselor through the Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board in the state of Ohio. She went to the Ohio State University and received her undergraduate degrees in psychology and criminology with a minor in sexuality studies. She received her master's degree from the University of Dayton in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling.

Hanna completed her internship at Netcare Access where she worked with adults 18 months dealing with mental health emergencies including suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviors in addition to relationship and substance abuse issues. She has experience working with mood and anxiety disorders. She has also worked in intensive residential treatment as well as inpatient crisis stabilization. Hanna has experience working with clients individually and in group settings.

Hanna's approach to therapy utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focus, and Strength Based modalities through a mindfulness lens. She views the therapeutic relationship as a partnership and uses that to create a space where the client can focus on learning new skills and approaches to overcoming current and future obstacles.
