Jaclyn Musci is a licensed Counselor Trainee (CT) through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Minor in Neuroscience from The Ohio State University. She is currently working towards her Master of Arts in Counselor Education with a focus in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The Ohio State University.
Jaclyn provides outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, and adults at Nemeth Counseling. She has also worked closely with older adults within the research setting and has a passion for providing accessible care to the geriatric population. As a clinician, Jaclyn utilizes a strengths-based, client-centered approach and believes that the client is the expert of their own life. She implements evidence-based modalities to best fit each client’s individual needs, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed care. Jaclyn believes building a strong therapeutic alliance between client and clinician is a crucial component of therapy and aims to provide a safe, trusting, and non-judgmental atmosphere in each counseling session.
