Lacy Purdum is a licensed Counselor Trainee through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapy Board. She has earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in Psychology from the Ohio State University. Lacy currently attends the University of Dayton as a master’s degree student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.
Lacy has experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. She takes a trauma-informed, integrative approach that often utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy.
Lacy is passionate about building a trusting therapeutic relationship with her clients that encourages growth and honesty. She believes that therapy is a collaborative effort where the client is the expert of their own experiences and she provides support and empowerment to make meaningful changes. She is dedicated to creating a space that is non-judgmental, inclusive, and safe for clients to be their authentic selves.
