Megan Kavinsky is a Licensed Professional Counselor through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University in Human Development and Family Science, and went on to attend Ashland Theological Seminary, where she received her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health.
Prior to her counseling career, Megan taught preschool. She enjoyed helping families with education plans to assure success in kindergarten and beyond.
Megan’s counseling career began at Beacon Counseling, where she gained experience in providing services for adults, children, and teens. She is specifically trained in Gottman Level 2 Couples Therapy.
At Nemeth Counseling, Megan works with individuals facing a variety of difficulties including, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Her treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Gottman Level 2 Couples Therapy.
Megan is fully dedicated to working with her clients to reach the goals they want to achieve. She treats each client with respect provides each of them with a compassionate and attentive style.
