Michelle Madden is a Licensed Professional Counselor though the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hawaii Pacific University.
While in Hawaii, Michelle worked in an internship for a partial hospitalization program for adults with dual diagnosis. Michelle facilitated daily groups that encouraged coping skill development and increased understanding of mental health. While in Columbus, Michelle has worked as an outpatient therapist for adults, and focused on coping skill development, symptom management, and trauma informed care.
Michelle applies a person-centered approach towards counseling; providing a space for clients to feel heard and listened to without judgement. Michelle is passionate about providing trauma informed care and utilizing evidence-based methods including CBT, DBT, and motivational interview
