Sarah Beadle is a Social Work Trainee through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from The Ohio State University, where she is now continuing her education to obtain her Master in Social Work degree.
Before joining Nemeth Counseling and Consultation for her field practicum, Sarah worked with students at Ohio State in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio.
As a practicing clinician, Sarah uses evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, solutions-focused therapy, and mindfulness to guide work with children, teens, and adults. While Sarah uses knowledge of many practices to influence her work, she believes in a multidisciplinary and biopsychosocial approach to treatment. Sarah hopes to foster a supportive, authentic, and collaborative environment where clients can be vulnerable and supported as they work towards their individual goals.
